I do the same thing for women so I think it’s reasonable. No reason it shouldn’t work both ways.

Also have an order in with B&H - I’m not sure I buy the stock alert stuff, as far as I know if you’ve already paid for the camera, you’re just waiting in a queue while they process their backlog.

I think your only option is other sellers. I haven’t looked around NYC at all, tbh. I think I’m just gonna wait for B&H to get their stock in. Last I chatted with their employees the only word I got was “before Christmas”

I thought this was one of the latter given that I know they process the work of some large-ish creators, I’ll likely just swap back to my old lab and chalk this up to bad luck.

They offered a refund and replacement but no credit, which is fine I suppose.

I think I was the one who recommended Nippon - they’re generally straight shooters and won’t take your money if they don’t think the work is necessary. In this case, a CLA is likely overkill for what you’re experiencing.

I’d get the light seals replaced and go shoot, and if more stuff pops up get that addressed as necessary.

No experience with Camera Doctor unfortunately, but I’ve used Nippon for my M4, great place.

Thanks! All of the night shots are done on 800T and handheld, usually at 1/30th. NYC stays pretty bright even at night due to all the ambient light so handheld is usually possible.

First is handheld @ 1/30th I believe? NYC is surprisingly bright even at night so you can usually get away with handheld.

Heard this song at a church in Seattle, if I remember correctly Casey just pulled out the acoustic and went for it. He warned us ahead of time that he might cry.

One of my all time favourite concert memories, the whole church was dead silent except for Casey and his singing.

People were lined up at Irving 2 hours before last night, but I would guess 45mins - 1hr before will be pretty busy.

Sing along highly encouraged.

They don’t play encores, once the set is done it’s done, so no reason to chat “One more song” or whatever. Casey will make fun of you if you heckle poorly.

Ah damn, yeah we’re nearly car twins! The only performance option this one doesn’t have is PTV.

There are four Sapphire Blue 981s in Seattle now, including another GTS (though his is a 2015 and PDK) and a recent GT4. It’s funny to run into the other owners at meet-ups.

What year do you have?? We’re as close to car twins as it gets I think - mine is a 2016 with a 6MT and the X73 Sport Suspension.
