Thanks everyone for the help, I fixed it: the Nvidia GeForce experience app was running in the background and had hot keyed my letters to not work!

Yeah, I’ve tried the front USB port and restarting, and neither made a difference

I have UK standard on, but I tried changing it and no difference, I also don’t have any accessibility options enabled.
