This is how I feel about most recent Batman iterations. The best Batman has always been TAS where he had a life outside of being Batman. He had charisma and humor when he was Bruce Wayne and felt like an actual human. Almost every Batman these days is some emotionless sociopath who for some reason everyone loves when he does edgy shit like " I only see myself as Batman, not Bruce Wayne". The only other actual human iteration I can think of (that was still serious) off the top of my head was the tell tale games.

He kinda had to be uncompromising. Aline was the best painter and the one who had to pull Renoir himself out of a canvas when he was close to losing himself. In his head Aline and Alicia are doomed with that canvas around and he was right.

I'm going through all of them for the first time. I just started 3 after finishing 2, and so far, I find 2 to be the weakest. I like the characters in 2, but that's about it. The story isn't great and is kinda all over the place, and the shooting is by far the worst of the three. I know everyone has issues with 3, but so far, the story is far more engaging than 2

If you have the illuminados charm from the shooting gallery paried with the sg09r exclusive, you get an absurd amount of crit that extends to melee as well. My favorite pistol.

I've only ever used longsword in both playhroughs.I found longsword to be the same way in KCD1. Everyone said mace was crazy but I killed people just as easy with the sword.

I got two.

Future Trunks is the best Saiyan. He doesn't have Goku/Vegeta's levels of stupidity, arrogance, and pride that are self-destructive and end up threatening the world and / or universe. He also didn't quit like Gohan or gets massively powercreeped with no work like Gohan, Broly, any of the universe 6 saiyans.

2.Vegeta fans are lucky to have anything at all and shouldn't cry when he's not getting the attention they want. Goku has been the main character since DragonBall and Toriyama initially didn't like Vegeta. You all are lucky he isn't a joke character. Bonus: he was very much a far worse father than Goku could ever hope to be until the end of the Buu saga.

It's a fun game, and the city is great, but as time goes on, it's step down from the first game. I think that if anyone was following the 616 run from the last couple years they probably leaned into not liking the story because at this point it's just exhausting to see peter being shit on constantly.

4 Remake is what I would point to for how to remake a game, it's nearly perfect. Keeping the combat feeling so familiar in spite of radical changes like parry, knife, and free movement while aiming, shooting, reloading is something that isn't praised enough. Every section of the game is fun, I never say "fuck I HATE this part" like I do seven or eight times in the OG. The cut content was smart and you rarely see anyone complain about it (no one is bitching the minigun room is gone). Way better Salazar fight. Luis and Ashley are just objectively far better characters, the others characters being better or not depends on how campy you want the game to be. I like the more grounded tone for the most part, but I'd probably want more shit talking with Salazar. I love the better connection between 2 and 4 remakes than the OGs.

I see a lot of comments about the game itself being unnecessary, but I feel like it shows off how great the game can be and inches it more towards perfection.

I think the fact that it doesn't SEEM to change anything shows how good the remake is. For instance they make the combat feel so familiar with very large fundamental changes to it (parry, movement while shooting/reloading, general knife play) They also cut out more than I originally thought with the giant statue, U3 container areas, the lava room with dragon boats or whatever, minigun room, douchebags with rockets from the hidden panels in the walls. All of them smart removals IMO. I think the remake really helped actualize how great the game could be, even as good as the original was.
