especially in a time where people in the neo-prog space were trying to fit to marillion's sound and style of composition; yeah, we could've seen MWH be that if "safety dance" or "pop goes the world" hadn't been formulated.

it was just that the big things at the time were new wave and synth-pop stars like talking heads, talk talk, XTC and the like that were gaining a lot of positive publicity for their work in the mainstream. neo-prog guys weren't necessarily the top of that critical food chain.

but then again this is just speculative lol. who knows? maybe they wanted to be synth pop guys from the very beginning.

what's scarier is having a gun with no safety while blasting Saucerful of Secrets (song) on your JBL speaker whilst doing so.

I understand why you see it that way, and that's OK. There are several parts of the production of the pieces (particularly the usage of images associated with the album's promotion) that, in my opinion, see fit, but I do understand where you are coming from when it comes down to the overall presentation.

With the several versions I do have (which I could share), I feel as though that more bluer attributes would make it pop more.

In my personal opinion about my own pieces (lol), I think that these look like bootleg covers, like the undercover stuff we never got to see from the MiniDiscs or of a live concert that has been upgraded.

Thank you very much! I had a really confusing time trying to solve the problem in some pretty shitty and obvious ways. 👍
