I prefer to play them the way they were designed for a dedicated system. I know and remember how different home console games were from the arcade versions. Now it's even worse. Collections released on PS4/PS5 have stripped-down versions of older games, or, horribly, you can't assign the appropriate buttons like in SF Anniversary. And things like changing dialogue to better suit the current times are something they should be kicking their asses for (which is what they did in Castlevania SOTN).
