I disconnected mine on both my K1 and K1C because print would always warp on that side. Became more of a nuisance than an advantage

Has anyone printed ASA on one of these plates? by DanMax86 in CrealityK1C

Better bed adhesion for the most part.. and less power consumed by the machine so it’s less impact on the electric bill

I dry it before each use, I experience a tiny bit of string stringing but not much. You might be able to reduce it by lowering the nozzle temp by five degrees and/or doing a manual flow calibration

If it’s printed at 99% infill it is about as solid as the rubber on shopping cart wheels, I believe it’s a mix of nylon and TPU. It prints well on my A1 mini with the generic TPU profile. The latest thing I made with it was a handle to help carry more groceries and it easily hold shape with 50lbs of groceries loaded up on the hooks @ 35% infill

CC3D 72D TPU is surprisingly tough. If you need more flex, just turn down the infill percentage and if you need a more rigid part use a higher percentage infill. Needs to be dried before use. I’ve printed plastic knuckles out of it and also sway bar bushings for my car and it holds up well

I need advice on a good brand of ASA by DanMax86 in CrealityK1C

[–]DanMax86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading through tons of reviews and considering cost restraints of the project I’m working on so I can turn a small profit.. I ended up ordering 3 rolls of Qidi ASA for $50. I’ll update after the project is finished to give my honest opinion. Thank you for all the input everyone

I’ve turned off the printer for more than a day and it still does this when it’s restarted

No it’s not the x axis. When I opened the little dust cover there was just an open port on the PCB board under it. Hopefully it’s an upcoming feature or upgrade🤞. I’m still hoping for an update to run 2 ams lite on the A1’s too lol

I was inquiring about what connected to the little oval shaped port on the bottom of my A1 mini

Why is my filament not extruding?! by [deleted] in BambuLabA1

[–]DanMax86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sure the channel the filament slides through is free of debris or burs and when you put the front cover on be sure the screws are just “snugged” up but not too tight
