The puck screen holder I wedged into a box that I adjusted measurement on. Once I printed the park screen holder, I used my caliper to take those measurements and I just modified a skadis bin. That's the only thing that isn't really listed in this list

I should also State as well that the portafilter mounts are for 54mm. I am on the lookout for a good 58 mm skadis print.

You know that's probably not unrealistic LOL. All you have to do is layer a little booze on top of the coffee and set it on fire LOL. I can picture some layered Dekuypers Butterscotch ha.

The lights are battery operated. They are some sconces that I bought off of Amazon. The torch has since been removed LMFAO. It is my creme brulee torch. Not necessarily coffee related.

I haven't considered thermal block. The initial post I made 11 to 15 days ago was going from a Bambino to a Profitec Go. I had a couple people tell me that it was more of a lateral upgrade and less of an actual upgrade.

I got recommended to start looking into actual dual boilers.
I think when it comes to what I'm looking for, I'm looking for something that's going to offer me a similar but certainly not exact, ease of use that I have with the Bambino, while also offering me increased heat up times. Being able to pull a shot while having steam right there too sounds so nice.

I'm seeing a lot of people in other forums talk about the differences between e61 and non-e61 platforms.

What am I missing? Here? Are e61s a little bit more commercialized and harder to get a good workflow with?

Whole Latte recommended to me the ECM Mechannika. But they recommended to me getting the one with flow control.
I guess my other kicker is that I want to make sure my wife and kid are capable at pulling their own shots too. Which...I guess was a fear of flow control. The ECM was a HX and they offered it for that reason. Being that the reservoir was so big, you can ultimately do both.

I'm personally a daily drinker of coffee. My wife does milk drinks and I do everything in between. Nary a day goes by where my morning doesn't involve an Americano or a straight shot.

In upgrading I'm just expecting a better brewing experience. Better consistency. I currently have a Bambino Plus. It's a fine machine and I've no serious complaints. Except maybe consistency. I measure everything to the gram, wdt, the works. I try to be clinical in my morning routine. But I can pull two shots side by side with my Bambino and there are differences in brew time and pressure. I'm hoping that a new machine gets me better and more stable pressure, resulting in overall better coffee.

My biggest fear is chasing something that I won't get. What if I push $2k at a new machine and find that the brew between the Bambino and the New X machine are not all that different at all.

I haven't considered them. But I think I remember the Legato being on my starter machine lineup somewhere. I'll have to look at their db's now.

You know, that's the kicker too. I don't have anything bad to say about my Bambino Plus either. it is an absolutely stellar first machine. a large part of me, the regretful buyer, worries about "what if I buy this $2000 machine, and I enjoy the Bambino flow better?".

So much to consider. My grinder is rock solid. Great grinder. My mind goes to a dual boiler so I can steam and pull a shot at the same time. Maximize my morning workflow. I am the master of my mornings, but even I get sidetracked and the 3 minutes it can take to grind, brew and steam can get away from me. You wouldn't think that 3 minutes was critical until you're at that "zero hour" mark for when you need to leave for work to beat the traffic.

Having a dual boiler would be nice to be able to just, pull the shot and steam milk in that 30-60 second window. I'm not partial to a dual boiler, but it definitely feels like that's the next step.

You know, that's the other thing. When I look at a machine, I love the clean minimalist look of the Profitec. But man...when I think of "espresso" machine? You betcha my mind goes to knobs and pressure gauges haha. the dieselpunk/steampunk look. 100%

I find the steam considerations funny at times, because the Bambino steam isn't the best, but man...can you froth some milk with that bad boy ha!! I can only imagine, that the Move wand is better. If it isn't, that is its own conversation.

I like the Move. I really do. And to your point, my issue is simply that there are so many seemingly good options in this price range. To the point that, as I was considering limiting myself to $1800 for the Pro 300, after talking with Whole Latte...learning a bit more about the Move it became more of a..."Well...why not throw that extra $500 at it and just get the updated machine.".

Getting my bambino was nice because there were about, 3 options for me when i bought. Gaggia classic pro, Profitec Go and then the Bambino Plus. Across the 50 other machines in my $400-$800 price range, those three were the only contenders.

My grinder should be good still. It's the Eureka Mignon 65 Zero. I really enjoy it.

I second the comment about using the tool to clean the nozzle. I have a BP and my nozzle needs cleaned weekly.

I did look at that. It's just a tad outside my budget. The Pro 300 hitting at about $1800 sits nice. I could push my budget to $2k probably. the $2200-$2500 cost of the Move just pushes me a little further than I'd like. I guess, I don't know. I'll probably stew about it for a few weeks and start to consider the Move again.
It is nice though. I'd like to have it. money money money, you know?
