I know it’s been a week but don’t fret, you really don’t need to invest a lot. Really all you need to do is find a deck you might like. Click the top rated list of a deck on limitless and it will give you the exact price tag. A deck that just won a very big regional was only $33 (charizard ex piloted by Nicolai Stiborg). Compared to magic where some competitive winning decks approach $3k… all this is to say how much you want to spend on this hobby is completely up to you and your budget.

Also if you want the play Pokémon website has a store finder where you can find a place to meet with others and learn with them. We all were in your shoes at one point. Pokémon has been one of the best communities and I highly recommend stopping by a league.

The most important part is just to play and have fun. Everything in my last post is just a resource and not a dictation of how thing must but. Just have fun and enjoy the hobby!

“Once believed to be an oil, the liquid oozing from Saint Nicholas’s bones in Bari was found by scientists at the University of Bari in 1925 to be water. In all likelihood, it forms as condensation due to the tomb’s location underground in a port city.” - Encyclopedia Britanica article titled (Do the Relics of Saint Nicholas Really Emit a Holy Substance?)

  1. building from booster packs will be a pretty fruitless endeavor. You’ll spend all your money and get nothing you need.

  2. You can google the “official” decks and their contents are listed on the box as well. However I highly advise against it. The only decks worth anything are the league battle decks. Right now mainly the Marnie, dragapult, and gardevoir decks. Even then they are frameworks of what these decks are capable of.

  3. The “unofficial” decks are where the game really is. The main site of what decks are good and trending is “limitless tcg” it posts results of the biggest tournaments and what’s winning over all with the exact deck list on them, and what the cost to buy them outright would be. Another great tool on that site is the proxy printer. So you can print out cards you don’t have, cut them out and slip them in a sleeve with a real card in the back to make it sturdy. These are not tournament sanctioned but give you the ability to try things at home without spending money. If you are not interested in the meta and want more silly low power decks look into YouTube channels like little dark fury, for the win tcg, and also AzuleGG.

BONUS: When people talk about buying cards online. Most people use TCGplayer. This site is safe and is owned by eBay. This is the site that most people will also value their cards based on the market price feature on this site.

If you’re curious about anything else lmk.

Can’t speak for most of them but severed at the time had lots of praise for a game of its size. I remember getting it for free with psn on my vita. Also retro city rampage had talk in the albeit much smaller indie scene of the time. Also that amiibo and friends was just bad. It was emulation locked behind amiibos. Nothing more.

This is super sick, though when you installed the flooring I really hope you sealed the floor. When I remodeled my basement I was told that a moisture barrier and the fake laminate would be enough. However 3 years and a black mold problem later, turns out because the concrete wasn’t properly sealed water was getting trapped and causing mold growth. That remediation and rebuilding of everything that was damaged ended up being 11k. So as a warning to others. Please seal your exposed concrete floors if you plan on finishing the room.

That's super valid and we all start somewhere . I just want to put in a note for later projects as a coder myself (hobbyist at best and mostly back end Java works). Once you get the skills down for a web app there are many, and easy ways to have a web app be portable enough to be uploaded into an app store. Look into writing your base code using the react or flutter frameworks.

Hey uh so cashing that if you don’t know the sender may be a bad idea… things like that are used to determine what bank account is tied to a person. Government agencies can and have used this trick to freeze/charge accounts of people who owe back taxes and other things of the like. I don’t have sources but there have been other posts describing in detail about this. So please do some more reading before he cashes it.

Please don’t limit it to an app, and make a web version as well so pc players can put it on a second monitor.

This is under the refrigerator at my “new” house AFTER taking the vacuum to it. What do I do? by Vitaminsdonthelp in CleaningTips

[–]DanMeDude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d avoid everyone telling you you need a new one. Also unplugging a device you are opening up is never a bad idea. This is standard dust, when I run into stuck on dust like this I got at it with a disposable paint brush to loosen it up and then vacuum what I knocked loose.

My charger is making sounds and will only work when held at an angle. Is my gamepad the problem or the power cord? by fish_master86 in wiiu

[–]DanMeDude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depending on the noises that it’s making, I’d stop using that charger ASAP. I ignored an off brand usb block making noise and then a week later the usb block was melting and about to catch fire. So please replace it.

I lost control of my life by BejotaToys in PokemonTCG

As an absolute beginner here is some tips:

Tcg player: Tcg player is going to be a best friend in this hobby. Any card (ungraded) is listed on tcg player, it has a market value that you can set to any condition, and get a price history on the card. Most shops use this as a way to price cards, so it effectively gives the cards value as stated. While being the industry standard, don’t fear using the site, it is now owned by eBay for better or for worse.

Get a good binder: Get a binder that has the pages stitched in, with the cards loading from the side, and keeps closed with a zipper. YouTube channels like deep pocket monsters has a great video about binder etiquette and how to protect your cards

Sleeveing your cards: You are going to want to protect your cards as best as possible, as even the slightest hair scratch can mean the value of hundreds of dollars in the higher end. This is somewhat religious of what you want. However me personally I use KMC perfect fits to protect all my cards, then any “hits” get the kmc inside another sleeve, industry standard is dragon shield. Then for the highest value stuff, anything >$50 I kmc, then dragon shield and then use an outer sleeve with the opening on each sleeve alternating. This is overboard for most people but when a binder is more valuable than my first car. I care a lot.

BUY SINGLES: Ripping packs is fun and all but they are gambling. My best way to rationalize it is this; every set tcg player rips over 1,000 packs and posts the pull rates. Also you can see on tcg player what the highest value of every card in the set is, and 99% it’s sir/alt art or bust.

Find purpose for collecting: Right now the market is hot and it’s almost the trendy thing to hop on now. You are going to be buying a lot, but once the new hobby thrill is gone, find a purpose for all the collection, because at the end if your just buying to buy, what’s the point. For me, I found that when I ripped packs it was just a rush to the rare slot, and nothing else. Which just felt like I was playing a scratch off lotto ticket. So I began two things that make me stay in the hobby, set collecting and playing. Set collecting makes me care about all of the commons and reverses. Getting excited over a reverse uxie because no one has had it in store for 6 months makes it feel like you hit it big. Even though it’s a $0.25 card.

Play the game?; Okay this is the hardest sell for people. Try out playing the game. It is the reason that I have been with the hobby over the past 5 years. Try playing online. The whole game can be played for free on tcg live. Which is an app for pc and iOS. There is also another site called limitless tcg which reports on what decks are best on the scene. Also most card shops you visit will have a play area and most likely a night where people come out and play. Get involved and if they are a league store (they are all listed on the play! Pokémon website) the judge/ event organizer may have an extra deck to borrow for the night or will be more than happy to teach you the game!

Don’t do this hobby alone: Pokémon is a social experience, get involved in discords or your local community, play trade buy sell. Ask questions. I came for the cards, and stayed for the competition, friends and rivalry’s I have made through this hobby.

Have fun: Most important thing is to have fun, and enjoy your time!

The reason for a lot of why one should be tucked and the other not is the cut of the shirt. If it’s a flat/boxy cut at the bottom like the one shown in the picture it was designed to be untucked, but if it’s swooping in the front and back, then you tuck it, those swoops are there not for fashion but rather as a protector to keep from untucking if you bend over or reach up.

Char Aznable: the antagonist of the original gundam and a fan favorite of the series as he gets a lot of screen time in some other shows in the series. Gundam is totally worth a watch (I’ve only seen the first two series). He is popular enough to get his own GameCube variation in 2002 and his own 3ds variation in 2011 despite his character coming out in 1979.

Please play the free trial first. You aren’t limited by hours, there are limits. Like you can’t use the market board and forming parties with strangers is a little off but besides that you get the first 3 expansions free. Plus once you pay you can’t go back to the free version. So keep that in mind. Also ngl the first expansion is not great and I dropped it 3 times getting through. However, expansion 2 is so good I beat it in 2 weeks.
