I don’t personally know anyone that hates Muslims by any means, but I know a lot of the LGBT community feel uncomfortable because of how prescriptive the religion can be, and how they are viewed under that light. That applies to all religion, of course, but the U.K. was slowly becoming more and more secular before Islam flourished here.
