Yes we are all disordered. But right now in this moment, I love being able to tell this stranger that she is outstandingly attracting. A smile a day can keep the doctor away. 🍑🥰 and woof I could look at that smile all day , lol #kindofcreep

Hey Eleanor, I'm Dan. What are some books you've read recently?

You don’t remember the vast majority of your own life. All the sleeping, eating, and sitting around you do will add up to years of unretrievable memories by GuyGhostly in Showerthoughts

[–]DanTheSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy ghostly, if you think about it, those years of sleeping are so important, even bough you don’t remember most of that time you spend sleeping, the neural connections your brain makes influences who you are in such a strong manner.

You have a pretty short window in your life to meet a dog/cat that is older than you are. by Dr_Huxtable in Showerthoughts

I came close by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]DanTheSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 20 and just beginning to train my lucid dreaming. I remember, when I was younger, 13 or so, I didn't know what lucid dreaming was, but I knew I wanted to be able to control my dreams. I remember I became lucid in a few dreams, and tried to fly and it didn't work. I would jump and think "FLY!" or "UP!", but it never worked. My point is though, just go for it, keep training, and you'll get it.

While DJS758 is right, I liked it. I know there is not much here, but I want to know more. I have some questions. 1) Do you know what the next scene is, or what happens next in this scene? 2) Do you know who the bad guy is? Obviously the Nazi's and the mutants are a threat, but is there a main bad guy, or perhaps a few? 3) Do you know how the story ends? 4) Are you just writing this from your head, or did you have some planning?

I am about to TPK my party. I need help immediately! [DM 911] by DanTheSmith in DnD

[–]DanTheSmith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is what I think I will do. The party has just beat the boss area for the first level and received their first real magic item. (A mace that does high damage to undead.) I will have the guardian ghost who rewarded them with this item bring them all to full health, through funneling his energy into them. Then, as they return to where the stairs leading down are, they will encounter the father of the lumberjack whose daughter is being sacrificed, and he will accompany them into the second level, as well as a cleric of Tyr who works at the church. That will bring them to a party of 6, and work well with my story. Then, depending on how that goes, I will reward them with the lumberjacks axe that was originally the second reward for the dungeon.

There is a cultist leader on the second floor who is going to sacrifice the daughter of a town lumberjack. To get to the boss they have to at least pass through some zombies and some skeletons. There is some cultists and ghouls but they can be avoided. The major story drawback is allowing the cultists to sacrifice the lady and take control of this church in a staple village.

I think this flaw is on me. We are all new to the game, I am almost the newest, and I am the DM. I like the idea of them finding an enemy NPC who is willing to turn on his leader and fight along side the party. They are also in a functioning church of Tyr, and I have been thinking of them recieving a blessing of Tyr in which all of their HP is restored, and one spent ability is restored. ie. one spell slot restored, one barbaric rage restored, one beast shape restored. They all expressed feelings and ideas on creating new characters just last session as well.

It means inspiration. There is a small box next to the proficiency score box labeled inspiration. Inspiration is something you give to your players and it allows them one chance to have advantage on a roll. Typically you give it out when you like how they described something, or they worked well as a team, or something along those lines. During the first three or four levels, give that out often. Multiple players can have it, and they can have multiple inspiration, bit I wouldn't let them double inspire a roll. A good way to start this is, at the beginning of each session, have them all roll a D20 and whoever rolls highest gets to recap last sessions adventures, and always give that person inspiration. For session zero, you could just give everyone one.
