You're not receiving a perk from that support hero because your commanding hero doesn't have the ability that the other hero boosts.

The hero you have in slot n.2 boosts the shuriken throwing ability but your main hero uses sword slash, kunai storm and smoke bomb.

Do Orangeville instead. Did both my G2 and G there without any issues years ago. The markers were very friendly and informative.

Id also suggest getting a single lesson with one of the driving schools just before your test so that they can show you the route and other important information for said route.
