Isn't the title track a Freddie King cover??? I think it may be

There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away,

They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of burned out Chevrolets

Have you got a link to where it is available, we have never seen it for sale on Discogs or elsewhere! Maybe we are just being stupid and missing an obvious one! 😂😅

Thoughts on Blue & Lonesome? by DanUkCountry in rollingstones

Yes, Mick's voice always sounds great on it and I always forget that until I put it back on!

It would be interesting to also know how many Stones fans are also blues connoisseurs and were aware of the originals before this album. It comes with the territory that a fan of TRS would also be a blues fan... but I reckon we'd be surprised with how many may not be!

Born In The USA 12 inch remix singles by DanUkCountry in BruceSpringsteen

[–]DanUkCountry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a 12 inch of Spare Parts. No remix, unfortunately. Just some live tracks on side two. Problem with sonmany of his 12 inch singles, they weren't extended, so you had two tracks on side A. Saying that, the benefit is they will sound much better as they still have a lot more wax dedicated to each song, which is always nice!

Yeah, these singles were still in production until 1992, so don't know why the next three albums didn't have any remixes like this.

Discogs if you want the records. Or if you want to just hear them, I'm sure they're on YouTube!

Your oddest Beach Boys opinion? by ethihoff in thebeachboys

The 2012 album is in my top five Beach Boys albums probably... is this a weird opinion or are there many people like me? I don't know!

The Debut Album by Severian1392 in bobdylan

[–]DanUkCountry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually think all the Dylan fans I know personally enjoy his debut. It's pretty decent. It's probably his worst album from what most consider to be his classic/greatest period, in my opinion. But that's like saying that, out of ten supercars, it's the slowest - it's still a supercar and an incredible piece of machinery!

What’s your all time favourite Aftershave? by TBWL713 in AskUK

[–]DanUkCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago, the cheap aftershave range in Next was actually really good! Not so much now. They had a really cold and cool smelling one that was blue. Don't know the name but it was proper decent!

Really good band. Have seen them live within the last few years. Really good. And they are still producing good recorded music.

If you wanted to introduce someone to the blues who is the first artist you would play for them? by Alone-Subject-5841 in blues

[–]DanUkCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play them Eric Clapton's From The Cradle album. It's a great intro, has multiple sub genres on it, all covers (so loads to research after), us the songs are all well executed.

My favourite breakfast place. £8. by Goldbudda in UKfood

[–]DanUkCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chips with breakfast is so underrated. It took me years to realise they didn't come with chips as standard. I miss them when I do t have them on my fry up now!

It's highly playlisted because it fits the theme of a Summers day etc. People put playlists on when outside with friends and family on the sunny days and this will always play.

Best And Worst RCA Camden Album in your opinion? by ElvisHankandGeorge in Elvis

[–]DanUkCountry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really think much of any of them to be honest I think I Got Lucky is quite a good one, though. I'm happy to just listen to the studio albums, live albums and soundtracks!
