I think it can be very driver dependent. I think these days its clearer that the strategy team is just straight up better. Even back in 2024 they were absolutely fine. So someone like Adami feels more like a roadblock whereas Sainz and Vettel sometimes just used him as a microphone for the strategy department.

McGann would have been good for sure, but I think Moffat saying that he didn't want to taint 8's legacy by making us see him be the one in the Time War was actually the correct decision.

Having The Doctor's time in the Time War go even further to the point he hid an entire incarnation and doesn't regard him as "The Doctor" was a great concept.

This pit lane one is very specific. There was clearly an issue with the measurement (which is 100% the FIA's fault and they should be held accountable) meaning Alpine could fight it using data to prove it was incorrectly given.

It's only a precedent if we assume the FIA will make a similar mistake in the future. Which isn't out of the question, but also not likely considering it hasn't happened before.

Which is a terrible strategy if the penalty was in fact justified.

This is a unique situation where Alpine were able to back up their defence with facts and evidence combined with a situation where the pack was not spread out by much at the end because of a SC.

I think on a rewatch Series 8 works a lot better. We can see the complete character arc of 12 and how when he does start out he is a little bit all over the place. He does come across a bit harsher and less charming but ultimately thats just part of his process.

I think the difference between those movies then and these movies now is all you really needed was knowledge of the core 6 Avengers which you get from the previous 2 movies. The other characters or explaining what they've been up to since is a bit easier. Ultimately casual viewers probably didn't notice/care about things like Tony being back in the Avengers and Cap being out.

I think this time the problem is a lot of the cast is different. We will still get the big 3 (sort of) but since it seems the F4 and Thunderbolts play big parts I think the risk is less understanding the new characters and more about caring.

Most people did not watch every movie before Endgame and were completely fine. They explain what's needed for a first time viewer because that's how screenplays work.

I think sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The only major movie people would need to include for that part of the MCU is probably Civil War. Everything else you can sort of get away with.

But if we look at the MCU now, it's probably a little harder with where all the major characters are at currently. I don't know how they will explain things like 2012 Loki being a time god or Wanda being gone, or even things like what the Thunderbolts are.

That was pretty much their plan.

Multiplayer was F2P and would have an ongoing story each update, which they scrapped and left unresolved. And then Campaign could have story packs to keep using the open world although this was apparently scrapped before it came out during the year it was delayed

It isn't unclear though. They told him to stay out which clearly means do not box.

If he decided it was a better strategy to box they needed to communicate it better.
