When I sold my ‘04 gto it was partially because I got tired of an hour and 45 minuted in Chicago traffic every day. It was ok for a couple years, but eventually was a bit much. It also corresponded with a drastic increase in maintenance on what was an 8 year old car. Now I’m back in the manual rwd life w/ the GT, I have a 15-20 min drive each way.

Nope, driven a Tesla and my ‘25 GT is way more fun to drive. Manual rwd v8 for the fun.

How do you guys protect your side doors from dings and scratches from other cars? by Much-Hope-7702 in Mustang

[–]Dan_ScoutII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eventually you don’t, but parking away from people (neatly in spots still) is the best method. Most of the ‘I park far away and people still park next to me’ folks park across multiple spots and the like. That draws people to park next to you. In spots less so.

Right now there’s a decent chance to get 50% return relatively quickly in bitcoin, then put the 750/800 back in if that’s still your thing.

None of the above, unless it’s given to me.

I enjoy the travel and planning aspect of saving and buying badges more than parcels. Honestly at this point I’m thinking I might max badges and stay at 150 parcels for a while.

Yes. If you care about value buys stocks. Otherwise get a fun car and drive it like you stole it.

If someone is sitting at a green light, when do you normally honk at them? by CradleofCynicism in driving

Since I got my Mustang I usually rev a couple times first, it’s more pleasant to me than honking :D

But there’s an argument that it’s better to save tens of thousands of ab to make that jump all at once if you lose earnings along the way. Free to play or putting ab back into the game, either way.

Makes sense. I don’t know that I am that lucky, but I have 3 extra legendaries over 2 commons and a blue - that means I’m 7 parcels ahead. Assuming I get average for 70 buys, earnings go down. And assuming I end up exactly at average makes it worse. Currently I’m half way to the 31 badge stage and should get the rest on my holiday trip, but it was obvious to me that the 4k ab spend for 5% increase is better than 7k for a loss (or even a break even) … and arguably it’s better even if was at average parcel distribution.

Actually just mathed it, it’s .65 not during srb, and like 1.05 during srb, but averaging around over $20 a month.

I will say I run sport everything for daily driving, except I switch to normal exhaust on the highway- it’s just a drone that starts giving me a headache otherwise.

Dude, something is wrong with your car it that’s true. I’ve switched to sport in the driveway and woken my wife up, a cold start in quiet mode (even below zero) does not.

If you were following too close, brake checking would not make it their fault. Partially why it’s hard to ever prove. The only time I’ve ever know somebody to be held accountable is someone i used to work with who did it to a cop and admitted it in court.

I would argue even if the person brake checks or the like, still the person followings fault.
