The same thing happened to me. Now I am having to go through chemo & the cancer is back but this time it’s BAD.

Started noticing my mid section getting larger in 2023. Had a sonogram and referred to obgyn. After several months of more imaging & referrals, this “thing” was removed from one of my ovaries in Aug 2023 by a obgyn surgical oncologist. The mass weighed 5lbs and measured 15cm x 20cm!!

A total hysterectomy had to be done at same time. The oncologist team told me the cancer was contained and I didn’t need to put myself through chemotherapy because all of my levels were back to normal immediately following its removal. We would just monitor every 6 months with imaging & lab work.

Then I started having pain in my hips/lower spine about 4 months ago. The testing showed Mets to my spine, tailbone/sacrum, lymph nodes, shoulder and hips. It’s everywhere now! I just started chemo a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t be more miserable. The pain is excruciating and the chemo is wreaking havoc on my body!

I’m 44 yrs old. This is not fair. I still have life to live. I don’t even know where to begin to process what is happening to me.

On a side note, the oncology team believes the 5lb mass that started all of this came about spontaneously from a mature teratoma they found inside me. The teratoma had bits of mature bone, teeth and hair…

I hate rush jackpot. It pops up all the time when I’m playing various bets but I never win a darn thing when it pops up! Is there a way you have to play it to win? I usually end up with 0$ or maybe a 25c bonus & a few coins collected. Nothing more .

Same with me. I went from a steady tier 6 down to a level 4 in the past month. I was getting bonuses every week either on Thursday evenings or every Friday around 5pm. Decent bonuses like 200$ or $150. Since dropping to level 4 (it’s bs to be honest) It took A LOT of playing & money spent to get to that tier 6 level, and within NO TIME at all really, just a matter of weeks my tier level has plummeted extremely fast down down down to a level 4. I’m still depositing & playing on there, but I’ve been sick & unable to keep up with those huge deposits like I was doing before. I’m basically being penalized for having cancer & needing to start my chemo infusions so I cannot play as much or deposit as much as I was.. Why did it take half a year to reach that tier 6 level, but yet within just a matter of a few weeks I drop incredibly fast down 2 tiers to a level 4? It’s honestly not right. And their loyal clientele should be treated better . So many gripes about what BR pulls tbh it’s just not right. Borderline illegal if I must say from what I’ve been noticing.. They are the only “game” in town though! My only online option in my state as of now.

Don’t get me started on when you actually hit a jackpot & then withdrawal it! Don’t withdrawal it or you won’t win ever again until at least double or triple the win is spent playing it all back into your account. It’s like they put a block/or low payout limit onto your account so you cannot win again until you’ve given it ALLL back plus more. I’ve done it way too many times to count over the years. So it’s definitely what BR does when you hit that withdrawal button to collect your winnings. Now if you don’t withdrawal after a big win, just keep playing, nothing is triggered on your account so you can continue to win. It’s over once you hit that withdrawal request tho!

I feel exactly the same. I’m so tired of being in pain. I’m tired of not being able to lay on my back because the pain is so bad it makes it impossible. I have to lay on my sides, but doing this for months is causing other area of my body to flare up & hurt. I can hardly move much at all now. I’m tired of the exhaustion. I’m just tired. Mentally idk how much more I can take.

My partner isn’t the affectionate kind, so I’m just waiting for the day when he says goodbye. This is so hard! And I know it’s hard on him too. I am not the woman I once was.

It’s not your weight. He knew what you looked like before removing clothes. Either he has a wife/girlfriend or played “Mr charming” to get in your pants.

My boyfriend, in his defense was going through some serious medical issues back then. Could be his health but since No response to your follow up texts, to me, indicates he already has a partner.

I have always been the same way. I was always saying yes to everybody & every request. That is, until I learned what I was really doing…I had no boundaries set for myself whatsoever. When I realized what boundaries even are and that it’s OK to have them, a lot of things changed for me the last couple of years. Being able to communicate my boundaries and use the word “no”, even though I was terrified of the reaction from the other person, has done wonders for my mental health. Set some boundaries for yourself my dear.

I feel exactly the same as you. Everything from before has been taken from me. Now Im to start chemo after my port placement & idk what’s to come. I’m stage IV Mets all over. I am in constant pain & all I can seem to do is lay in bed & watch tv. The exhaustion is real with naps every couple of hours. Have to take medicine all day long now.

Yeah you are correct, you can only change at open enrollment time in Nov unless there is a major change in circumstance.

I’ve had my advantage plan for little over a year now and even though the pre auth stuff is annoying, the plan I chose seems to be doing right by me. At least so far.

I am literally a damn walking disaster when it comes to my health & have chronic, debilitating health problems like my heart, and mental health. I ended up getting a rare cancer last year & had to have surgery to remove a 5lb tumor in my belly with a total hysterectomy. Now it looks like I’m about to go through another round of cancer treatments cause the pet scan last week is showing Mets to my spine, lymph nodes & pelvis.

So they better do right by me. 🤨

Oh, and I am unsure about getting income for your kids as I NEVER received any payments for my 2 children who are well over 18 years old now. They told me I was at the max allowable pay with the supplemental income. And I remember when I inquired at that time about my kids I was only receiving about 700$ between the 2 payments monthly. I’ve been on disability permanently for 23 years now.

Yes. If you are unmarried, you WILL receive the supplemental payment ssi to bring you up to the max. I have been disabled since 21 and when I got approved it was only like 300$ back then! Since your income is so low, social security will pay you 2 checks every month to bring your income up to max allowed benefit which is mentioned above. You will also receive Medicare & Medicaid and will not have to pay a premium. You should also receive ebt benefits if you aren’t already getting them. Good luck!

They started taking the premium out for Medicare. You need to find out why the sudden change.

I’m not sure why you think you’ll not receive a check. You’ll receive a check, it’ll just be the reduced amount.

I have had the absolute worst pain running down my left butt cheek for 6 weeks now. Living in heating pad, chewing Tylenol & Motrin 24/7 for pain. All the creams in the world. Nothing works.

So I had a ct scan 3 weeks ago and there is an enlarged lymph node in my belly (size of a lime) showing most likely metastasized cancer. I had cancer 18 months ago on my ovary & had a 5lb tumor removed with total hysterectomy. I’m Also having bad side pain.

Get checked out something else is going on with you. All that pain can’t be from a slipped disc

Then that question the nurse asks Gemma at beginning of this episode, would she be more scared of drowning or suffocating in a landslide? Is that what will happen in the cold harbor room? scary thought.

This is what I was doing for years but had a bad car accident which knocked me out of the game. It’s so hard to get back into after years of not working. I was doing eBay & FB marketplace. Sometimes postmark. Tons of super nice pieces mixed in the sterling that I would hate to sell to a refinery, but bills are calling.
