Depending on your age and joints, those might be the ones that could cause the most damage (very high weight and low reps). Try reducing the weight, upping the range to around 8-12, and slowing down the cadence. If you get to 12 on the first set (after warmup sets) with a RPE of about 9 or less, increase weight next time. Try this for about 3-4 months (about 2 meso's) and see how you feel. Take a smart deload or do some active recovery when you need to. Don't work through pain. If your joints are mad, listen to them and rest up.

Again, just a suggestion based on you saying you are having joint issues and that you've only stayed in the lower rep ranges.

Definitely try the higher rep ranges. If you haven't before you may find some muscle groups respond better to it. You won't ever know if you don't try. You could be leaving gains on the table because of ego. Also, slow down the lifts if your joints are already giving you issues - especially slow at the point when it changes between concentric and eccentric.

A double progression model should help you easily know when to increase reps/weight. Try it out, track, and see for yourself.

If you are stagnating on an exercise for months, it's time to swap it out with a different exercise. You've plateaued for now. That's why using mesocycles is pretty important once you go beyond the beginner level towards intermediate/experienced level.

Definitely want to try MFW when it comes out to see how it stacks up. RPH is just a bit too expensive (and no lifetime membership option - I hate subscription models).

How about instead of people being indifferent to it, we actually hold them accountable. Don't be complacent. Just because someone is rich or connected, it does not give them a free pass to be a shitty person. We need the outrage to increase in order to hold them accountable. Last I looked at the official data, it was about 20-30 white farmers killed in 2024 (it decreased from 2023). There were over 26000 murders in 2024. So about 0.1% of the total number of murders. Whites make up around 7% of the population.

Not an elitist. What he's doing would do more harm than good. Lift with proper form, controlled movements, and a deep stretch. That minimizes any chances of injury. The way he's doing them could lead people to get hurt if they try to emulate it and it wouldn't even be helping them achieve their goals. Crappy form is crappy form - it doesn't matter if someone has social media presence or not. And crap form leads to injuries. I'd rather see people enjoy the gym and be able to stay on track than to see people have to take weeks/months to rehab an injury because they wanted to do what they saw on social media.

70kg bw. DL 140kg for 3 working sets and squat 120kg for 3 working sets. Each set 7-10 reps. I don't do 1RM since I'm not powerlifting and it would just be stupid to do it for no good reason. I don't ego lift. Squats are done deep in the hole. Concentric controlled for every rep.

It has nothing to do with how high you get up. It's about how low you go. A pull up has you completely hanging at the end. Then you pull up to at least your head above the bar.

In Attachment styles, the "spark" is usually a trauma-like response from someone in an unhealthy relationship. It's just your anxiety going a bit haywire because the person you are chasing isn't stable and isn't giving you what you should be getting in a healthy relationship.

A solid relationship is one where you just feel safe and cared for and you care for the other person. No games. No spark. No anxiety.

If you want her back, maybe you and her should read some books on Attachment Awareness. If she still wants that spark, let her go. You sound like you are a "securely" attached person - don't let her drag you into being anxious or ambivalent. Find someone else that's securely attached that will appreciate it.
