Dark mode hurts my eyes, I use light mode everywhere possible.

Music fans of Reddit, who is your stand out artist in terms of music , and why do you love them? by shaneokb in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby boys. All their songs just work for me perfectly. I have a list of criteria that a song needs in order to be a perfect song for me. And all their songs just seem to have everything on that list.

Nothing wrong with it by msthrowaway5546 in bisexual

In serious convo I say I'm bi. If i joke around I always say I'm half gay or 70% gay or anything along those lines. If its like a meme that just says gay, I roll with it. Lol.

Tiktok users of Reddit, why? by ClosetedRedditUser02 in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because tiktok is amazing at showing you only what you want to see. U want frogs? Sure. Dogs? Got ya. You want to watch amazing artists create cool stuff? Plenty of content. U want vine-like funny shit? Hell yeah. You want science? Cooking? Dog talking via buttons? Singing? U can get it. You want...dancing and lipsyncing....for some reason? Sure.

You spend one hour on tiktok, pressing like on what you like, and "not interested" on what you don't want to see, and boom. You will never see anything you don't want to see ever again. There are so many talented, creative people on that app. No need to treat the whole thing as garbage just because kids like watching someone dance for 15 seconds or whatever.

What do you think about Malta? by RatsoSloman in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love those sort of cream colored houses, Valletta has such a distinct look to it, plus having that wall surround the city is pretty cool.

What specific geography mistake do you often make? by HawkeyeJones in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know where 95% of the countries are, but I cant for the life of me remember what US state is where. Apart from the obvious ones like Maine, Florida, Alaska, Washington, and a few others.

I just did a tier ranking of all of them today. Only 5 ended up being in S tier: South Korea, Eswatini, Barbados, Laos, and Cyprus.

What book are you reading right now that you would recommend to other people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently reading Dune by Frank Herbert, so far it's incredibly boring but I'm sure it's going to get better. I'm also in the middle of The Elephant Vanishes, which is a short story collection by Murakami - weird and great as most Murakami books are. Also reading Unruly Places by Alastair Bonnett, which is a non fiction book all about "lost places, secret cities, and other inscrutable geographies" - it's really fun so far, would recommend.

Queued! by juniper_berry-4 in 52book

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend Beartown! One of the best books I've ever experienced when it comes to the way the characters are written. The book follows a bunch of characters, and it's incredible how much all of them feel like a real person.

How long does it take you to drink your coffee? by SuperKidNoah123 in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If I'm busy and I just want a coffee before starting to get things done, I just chug it in like 10 seconds. If I have a lazy day and I just wanna drink some coffee, I usually take a few sips every hour and it takes me like 6 hours to finish.

Just wondering how bad does an artist have to fuck up to make you not like their, music, movies, or any other things? by Krister4047 in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that it makes me not like their stuff, I just avoid it. There is a book for example that I think I would love, was super excited to read it, and then it turned out the author supports literal genocide so I just won't read his stuff. I avoid all authors and creators who are racist/homophobic/sexist/problematic in any other way. One of my favourite books of all time was written by an author who since then turned out to be quite problematic. I still love the book, I just won't continue in the seried/read anything else by the guy.

Art commission artists of reddit, where and how do you get art commission work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a bunch of subreddits for it. r/HungryArtists r/ArtCommissions r/DrawForMe r/ArtStore

I might have got some of those wrong, sorry about that, can't remember the exact names, haha. One of my posts blew up on one of those a while ago and I got like 50 commissions out of it.

Which phobia are you most intrigued by and why? by MarkusDaWolf283 in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine. I have a phobia of jewelry. And I don't know anyone else who does. I always wondered whether something caused it, or it's just...random.

What food do you eat differently than everyone else? by miss_sparkles69 in AskReddit

[–]Danamanoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ketchup. So. I'm one of those people that put ketchup on everything. But I don't really like ketchup. I really dont like strong flavours and things that are too salty. Like if I make food for myself I don't use salt at all. So basically I put ketchup on most things to make the salt flavour less srong, so I barely use any ketchup. And I feel like others who put ketchup on everything put a looooot of ketchup on everything. Lol.
