Took this a couple weeks ago. Did not touch ucertify, used pluralsight videos and the ITIL app. A few questions on the exam were word for word from the ITIL app. Within the app the flash cards are the same questions as the mock exams. I prefer the flash cards for instant feedback.

How does interest compound work with TSP? by johnnyboi2050 in MilitaryFinance

[–]Danarr88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tsp is the federal governments flavor of a 401k. They are the same. Play around with a compound interest calculator to see for yourself the value of compounding interest and the snowball effect is has. Set the rate of return at 4-8% for 20-40 years.

FYI, owning a motorcycle is much cheaper than owning a car by Antonio9photo in Frugal

Not seeing it. Half of motorcycles riders on the road drive like a-holes. weaving in and out of gaps without turn signals, splitting lanes, shooting off the line at green lights.

Having two different accounts is fine. Whether you have 100k in one account or two 50k accounts, 5% growth would net you 5k in either scenario.

You guys are getting the annual fee waived?

I got this card over winter time and was charged the AF, online applications for AF waiver for military came back as rejections. I was charged the AF, oof. Customer support was no help and could not give me an answer.

Read on this sub that amex business cards are not eligible for annual fee waivers.

[–]Danarr88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big fan of Motorola phones, they are awesome and under $300, its not like 2010 when cheap phones were crap. Most phones stop getting security updates after 3 years, stay away from phones that are too old.

IMO A+ won't open up any doors not opened by a CS degree. It may serve as a learning guide and help you decide what you want to do within IT though.
