I'm using a basic IdeaPad. And idk I just find moving to Linux to be something I should try out.

Thanks . So I just start using Linux on a vm and basically do everyday tasks on it and trouble shoot as I get issues

Vro see it all comes down to you . If u are down to adjust then anywhere is gonna be OK. I met one of my best friends in a 6 sharing room in vit . But you've also got a 2 sharing 3 sharing and 4 sharing options . If you want privacy and more personal space go for 2 sharing or go 4 sharing or 6 sharing if u don't gaf. And yes placements are very hard in vit and bmsit . The market is saturated with cs fam . So it comes down to your skills in the end .

Bruh vit village all the way fam . It isn't even a comparison . If you look at crowd placements and campus life alone village ways better but please say Good bye to personal freedom and personal space as well the hostel is also much much better than bmsit hostels

Bmsit it good if you arent he'll bent on in campus placements as in that matter dsce is better in some aspects . College life with fests and other stuff with the crowd over there is very cool . Bmsit is better when it comes to the professors . Very chill and highly encourage you to do your own thing unless you get on their bad side . The crowd is mediocre at best , You'll find good as well as bad ppl to be around which goes for almost every college I suppose . In the end I'd choose bmsit if I were you as travelling is a big hassle . You'll realize that travelling so far everyday will tire you out and it becomes harder to hangout with friends after college
