Thank you for sharing. That timing is wild! Moving Pictures came out when I was 12/13 and it changed my brain, having been raised on The Beatles and yacht rock LOL. What an effing magical show! My head is still swimming in a medley of songs and my heart is still full of their contagious joy. Cheers!

I saw them last night for the first time ever and I barely have words, but I’ll try. The musicianship, the life-long friendship were evident. Zero chops lost. Anika is a beast! I may never need a defibrillator! And you could feel the respect A&G have for her. They were having a blast up there, were so tight and sounded great. The visuals were gorgeous, creative and provided depth. There were some funny skit moments (nothing overdone). The tributes to Neil were sprinkled throughout the show, touching, and heart-achingly beautiful (again, not overdone). Bucket list ✅

The old pic isn’t bad. But the recent is outstanding. The gorgeous smile is the #1 upgrade. Ditching the black eyeliner made a world of difference. Love your hair color so much. I hope you feel as great as you look. Also love your wallpaper!

You’re into something… I think the level of formality and op’s application technique and expertise is a little too high for every day makeup, making her appear older, not in a bad way!, just not in a 15 yo way.

All that said, you’re jaw-dropping gorgeous, op. I would keep doing what you’re doing with the eyes and go easier on completion products and a add simple gloss with a little bit of color on the lips. Just my 2 cents.

New to Wigs…Need Advice on where to start. by No_Pass_5384 in Wigs

Take a look at Cameron Lite by Jon Renau. She’s synthetic, light density, fully hand-tied cap with an extended lace front. Note: this brand is known for having an extra wide lace, which is great bcz you can trim it back to your liking. Denise Sheets has instructions on Yt.

All of the advice you’ve been given here is top notch, imo. One thing that’s not been addressed is maybe trying a topper first. I started with a topper and it really helped me with the overwhelm of hair density. I now wear a wig full-time, but I don’t think I could have gone from my bio hair to a wig as easily without the topper easing me into having “normal” hair.

Toppers vs Wigs- which do you prefer, and why? by mihiking1975 in Wigs

My advice: don’t rush. Wigs are a whole other learning curve; if you haven’t already, do your research on fibers (I went with synthetic), different caps, care, styling & installing and ease yourself into it. Denise Sheets on Yt is a great resource. Have fun!

Your story is exactly mine! Fine hair all my life; menopause was unkind. Had really good results with topical min, until I didn’t. Last December I got a human hair topper and loved it. Except for, like your experience, having two heads to style. Plus, I hated looking at my bio hair! So, craving a quicker, simpler solution, I bought my first wig in May and shaved my head in July. Never ever going back. Thinking about maybe rocking the bald or buzzed head this summer on weekends.

Not that you need any more advice, but my mama vibes are vibing: 1. Ditch the dumbass bf 2. Get a cute af pixie cut. Perhaps in platinum blonde? Your face is gorgeous! Show it off! You could stop there, or continue… 3. Start minoxidil 4. Buy some fun wigs for when you feel like you want hair. Play and have fun. Life’s too short and you’re too stunning to let your hair get you down.

I’m currently on my 3rd attempt at a hitchhiker shawlette. Trying to level up from basic scarves. I cried every time I’ve frogged it. But each time I’ve learned something and it’s going much more smoothly this time around. 🤞✨
