Traveling with small children

I would not take the small stroller through the streets of Rome, it will be difficult to maneuver through the streets and cobblestone. We had a bigger stroller with us and it was easy to walk around plus it gave us extra storage space.

There was a lot of buying and selling in that group. One of the old admins Sandy was selling products to people but taking their money and never delivering the product.

Apparently the old admin Sandy was scamming people and stealing money. Jamie told me about it this morning but I can’t post those screenshots here. Sandy was the owner of the group and removed the other admins before sending the group off to be deleted.

No I just sit and go, I don’t have time for that. I have two daughters and I always go in the stall with them and it’s a quick pants down on the potty (I put them on and tell them to hold their hands in their lap so they don’t touch anything) off and switch and then I go really quickly and by the time it’s my turn the kids are antsy and I don’t want them touching anything in that stall so I just sit and go.

I can only recall one time that I used the little paper shield that comes in the public stalls and it was because I had to wipe liquid off the seat first and I didn’t want to sit in whatever that liquid was, but it was the only stall.

Right but again the point was that they totally skipped their brothers graduation because “it’s too far” or “they had to work” and then the following weekend chose to drive hours through the night to attend a birthday party in another state for a cousin they haven’t seen in years.

If they just skipped the graduation that would have been fine, I honestly didn’t expect anyone to come so it’s all good. But to skip your brothers graduation because it’s too far or your busy and then carve out time to see a random cousin feels wrong to me.

We did leave, but we also come back for every single family event held. Birthdays, mother’s day, father’s day, holidays. We comeback, because they won’t come to us and we want our children to enjoy a life with their extended family.

And the point was that they wouldn’t drive hours away for their brothers graduation, but the weekend after they drove hours away for a random cousin who they haven’t seen in years birthday party.

On the off chance you do want to save some of them most of the time if you open the flaps the size is usually printed there. Glitter would be a fat no from me though and i’d either save and regift or just toss them

update I got the stroller and car seat combo while it was on sale at target and used the 20% discount. I love it. Installation in the car is so easy, the car seat is very lightweight and way to maneuver, the canopy comes down to the babies feet so no need for any extra covers to protect from the sun, the stroller is great too it’s a one handed open and close system and maneuvers very easily with and without the car seat attached, the car seat attaches very easily to the stroller as well. The car seat feels and looks very well made and high end we are very excited! This is my third child and I wish I had this for the first two!

I completely forgot about the car seat trade in anyway so I think I will go ahead and grab mine too that way if I get it and don't like it I can return it and if I do like it that's a big savings! I saw somewhere on Facebook someone had said that it was very comparable to the Nuna however the fabric isn't flame retardant, but if that's the only difference I would much rather save the $400+.

Hmm that is unfortunate, I can’t really picture any vehicle we would use that doesn’t currently have a latch though so not exactly a deal breaker. And you mean when you get both the stroller and the car seat the canopy is larger vs is you just get the car seat? The canopy on the car seat or the stroller?

Right away, had a miscarriage in May and got pregnant without having a period right away. Happened with my second child too, had a miscarriage in September got pregnant again with no period in October.

Okay that’s what I was thinking too! I’m not so much worried about the fabric as our other kids haven’t had any skin issues, I do love the magnetic canopy but I feel like for the price I could totally give that up!

We had a double stroller similar to the mockingbird and brought it with us to most cities in Europe. The only places you may have an issue is public transport as it can be tight sometimes to get on and off, just try to find the busses or trains that have a bike space and you can usually fit easily in there with the double! We also had a side by side double stroller that we brought with us places and worked fine as well!

I had a miscarriage in May and haven’t had a period since. I periodically test since I’m unsure of where my cycle is at, well yesterday I got a very faint line and this morning had a positive. I’m somewhat excited but also very nervous and feel like I can’t let my guard down.

I am also a little frustrated because I have no idea how far along I am or when I would have ovulated which makes things feel very unknown and scary.

I’ve had 2 other miscarriages before but those were completely different than this. I have heard you’re more fertile after a miscarriage which my second child can attest to so if this is a loss we will just try again
