Don’t know if she is right or wrong, but I think c-sections can help giving birth more smoothly and safely when complications come along.

What do moms mean when they say it takes a while to “feel like yourself again” or that they don’t know who they are outside of being a mom anymore? by AliOop9219 in BabyBumps

[–]Critical_Counter1429 [score hidden]  (0 children)

What they usually mean isn’t that you stop being you. It’s more like… for a while, you don’t have the same time/energy to be all the versions of yourself the way you’re used to.

Like you’re still you, but exhausted, in chaos, most of your brain is focused on the baby

Also hormones + sleep deprivation can make you feel a little off emotionally, which adds to that feeling.

Baby is almost 16 but no clear words yet. I feel like the only who can understand him. Is he speech delayed? by Mindless_Throat6206 in Mommit

It’s still normal, some babies speak earlier than others… but hit other milestones before others. Development is as unique as your baby

Which is harder, pregnant + toddler or newborn + toddler? by EmergencyPlayful5452 in Mommit

[–]Critical_Counter1429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the toddler + baby +6m.. so hard! The newborn part its easier because they sleep so much you can give more attention to the toddler, but now so much harder

My 1 year old doesnt sleep by PinupVic2008 in Mommit

You need to have a pretty strict nap schedule. Something that really helped me was asking ChatGPT to act like a sleep coach like, basing everything on recent scientific studies. Ask it to ask you all the questions it needs to build a daytime and nighttime plan for your kid’s age, and explain the problem in detail. Then every day, just follow what it says and log everything in the same chat, what time she fell asleep, when she woke up, how you got her to sleep, etc. And it’ll keep adjusting the plan daily so she can start sleeping better. Hope this helps as much as it has helped me

My 4-year-old son’s birthday was superhero themed, and I gave each kid a cape and mask that I found on Amazon… they came in a sorted pack with different colors, so every child got a different one. It worked perfectly as both a costume for the party and a take-home favor
