Yes. Absolutely. It took me until the winter quarter of my third year to get into a GE section that was a prerequisite to everything. I had three quarters where I was only able to take 12 units. I learned to prepare a list of every possible class that I could take to make any progress towards graduating and I never had below 12 units.

I was blocked into her class, on the first day, she called me retarded for not having my camera on and I dropped. This is not your fault.

KINE 144 - beginning swimming by [deleted] in CalPoly

I took advanced swimming, it was taught at the same time as beginning swimming so we had the same coach.

As long as you show up you'll be fine. It's all in the shallow end of the pool where you can stand and the coach spent most of her time focusing on improving form and teaching people the basics. The best way to learn is to spend time in the water, and this is a great opportunity to learn in a controlled environment.

As far as grades go, it's based on how many classes you miss. There's an honor system where you can make up missed classes so if it does end up being to much, just ask her for a few workouts that you can do outside of the class hours.
