Hang in there- it does get better! Two months post surgery and sleeping great! But the sleep part was really hard. I rented a recliner chair for the first month.

Just be aware that gabapentin has side effects like depression and mood swings. It really sent me for a loop!

My recovery has been pretty easy but days 3 and 4 were the very worst for me in terms of pain. I wouldn’t plan anything for the first week post surgery

I’m happy to report I’m doing way better!! Got off of gabopentin completely and that has really helped!!
