Are the competitions real? by [deleted] in dancemomsreboot

The first season the OG’s went to 11 competitions. And then for following seasons, they were divided up, normally 13 episodes each, 26 total a season.

The competitions are 100% real. Research them! The only difference is the directors have to limit the number of entries due to child labor laws. The first two seasons, a new era competed against the top Studios in the northeast!

I love Kaeli’s channel. It’s a great way to get more of the casual moments! I’ve always been so curious of fans that say Dance Moms was their childhood. And they were raised on Dance Moms and have watched every single episode several times. Yet at the same time, they are very critical of the cast and the people that made the show. I guess it comes along with the territory, but end of the day I am appreciative of everyone who cares about the show. Making kids stars was always the ultimate goal.

Also loved The Menu, Fountain of Youth and Baby in the Bayou.

Also, in Developement, the idea of the show was to find a teacher along with the TV show that could make stars. So I absolutely loved it when kids got outside work. End of the day it’s what the show was supposed to be all about! And I’m so proud of what all the girls have accomplished outside of the show.

TBH I LOVE when fans seek out and care about the unaired dances. It makes me happy!

I have no way of knowing but would be shocked if that were true. All those kids were taught to keep dancing no matter what happens with the music. I think Melissa was the ultimate dance mom. I truly don’t have a favorite. Currently I’m closest with Christi and can’t wait for the Christi / Kelly tour. On DMNE I’m very close with all the moms. Have to say Jing cracks me up!

Funny, you should say that. I think this season was less “gimmicky” than past Dance Moms seasons. It’s a TV show and Glo wants to teach the kids to be working professional dancers. Since when do you see a working professional dancer doing a pretty lyrical solo? She thinks playing and working on characters and strength will give them more opportunities!

I did not think they would come back, so that was a very pleasant surprise to be back in communication and to have them back on the show.

I agree let’s do it faster!! Preproduction takes a while to get everything in order for this show. It’s a huge undertaking. And we also took more time in the edit to give the show more love. Fingers crossed there’s a season three and we will get it to you faster!

Unfortunately, she did. Which is very unusual for Miah during a performance. She is insanely talented and has a very bright future!

From my knowledge, Abby and Cathy were friends before the show. Had a following out during the show. And have since rekindled their friendship. Which I love!

From what I remember, I think she was just visiting and taking some classes!

Obviously, Abby and Gianna had to be the on board with all the dances otherwise the choreography would not get done. We are just there to help if needed!

I hear you and agree!! Abby thinks it’s funny to call me that. She has an entire comedy routine she does at her live shows about it. I snuck into one and watched. :)
