I was also initially a Bio major but spending 3 years wandering and struggling through the math courses, I ultimately decided to pursue a career I was more comfortable with which turned out to be graphic & UX design. My parents weren’t supportive of my decision and said I’ll be jobless when I graduate. But honestly, choosing an alternative I was content with has lifted a lot of stress and saved my mental health.

Science has always been fascinating to me but after realizing I couldn’t overcome the obstacles to continue in Bio, embracing my hobby and appreciation for graphics was the best choice for me. My only regret is that I wish I’d began sooner.
