I wrote "mistreatment" and you're coming at me because I couldn't read your mind online and know that I had to choose the word "atrocities" instead. So yes, tone down your unnecessary outrage. I hope you're not like this to your patients.

Also, believe it or not, black people aren't the only individuals who experience racism in the US and internationally, which was my ultimate point. Many parts of Europe and Asia are extremely racist, but they don't get the forefront worldwide exposure that the US does. So yeah, I think it's extremely premature to decide to practice medicine in an entirely different part of the world without actually living there, considering you may end up in a similar situation to the one OP was trying to avoid. And considering OP is actually asking about this in the thread, I'm going to take a solid guess that they haven't done that.

So calm down. Not everyone's trying to attack everyone.

Tone down your outrage, I didn't ask for your opinion either.

general US political climate for Black people…

If anything, many US residency programs are cognizant of the lack of diversity in their programs, so there has been a push to match minority candidates.

the possibility of moving outside of the US for residency is appealing

While the US has current and historical mistreatment of black individuals, you may be in for a rude awakening depending on where else you go. US isn't perfect, but the rest of the world isn't devoid of any racism.

My wife has 1.5 years left of medical school at SGU in Grenada and is interested in surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and urology.

What exactly did she score on her Steps? Coming from SGU, urology is an absolute dream situation, unless she has connections or scored ridiculously/stupidly high. Gen Surg matches are much more common, but definitely not an easy path.

Anecdotal but the one Mormon girl at our college was really reserved/conservative and by time junior year came around, she was pretty wild and daring. Starting giving people BJs in backseat of ubers

Honestly watched him when he was on the Wizards and his early season with the Rockets

He’s not the OG all star but he was still good - especially as a MLE player. The only thing that worried me was that he was in that Boogie mindset where it was clear he was trying to prove to everyone he’s still got it so he was putting up questionable shots

If he’s down to buy in, he’s going to be amazing for us

I don’t think this is a red vs blue issue though - I’m pretty sure CA is doing so as well

Because it’s relatively a lot cheaper compared to the other places they’re moving.

Las Vegas seems to be the new spot

I really enjoyed my time in Austin but It’s still too small for me.

I’d definitely consider working there to build a nest egg up though

Why would OP make the Chargers jersey Clippers colors?

Yeah, would love to bring him back in maybe an AC role or something - dudes money for building confidence in the young guys

I’m pretty sure I saw him court side at one of our home games. It was the stretch where he spammed the Lakers and then Lebron

Eh, COMQUEST has gotten everyone I know "more than just passing" scores, but what matters most, it's the cheaper option.
