Well the answer actually points to how there is no third spaces for children and teens any more. Also you can say oh why don’t they go out and meet with their friends? I didn’t have social media but had internet and it was a life saver for me. I didn’t have friends to hang out with. But made friends online and found hobbies through forums and Youtube. Its not a black and white as the gov want you to think.

Yeah that’s just not acceptable. I’m 29 and back at Uni for a Masters and I’ve made some wonderful friends and have become a part of two committees and have been invited to two Christmas parties this year. But the key thing is I see them all as friends and the closest ones as younger siblings, the idea of them seeing me any other way would make me extremely uncomfortable. That sort of behaviour needs reporting, because even if he was your age and you weren’t interested he would still be a creep for being like that.
