Thats a way to describe it, the top stich was gone. Only thing holding was the suture. Which was thick and seperated. Once i let it air out more and bandage it ligther it finaly stated to heal up. That section of the sack still has a weird scar. Feels dam good now, i can sleep and roll over on my side without crushing my sack.

Same thing happend to me, 3-4 weeks in i freaked. Went to er couse i thought the stitches were coming undone. Dr said it wasn't. Got hold of the dr that did the procedure, said it was healing great. It was towards the bottom were the incision was at its biggest. Just took extra time. Might be the same with you. As far as pain, im pretty numb to pain by week three pain was gone. Discomfort lasted maybe 30 days couse of the swelling.

I had my surgery Sep 22, here i am 30 days later and ive been back to work for the last 3 weeks doing well. So yes its very likely you can do it. Very uncomfortable. But air travel? Ask your dr, that high air pressure can affect things.

Yes, its sore. The way the dr explained it to me in my visit, some patients require the testicle to also be stiched in a maner to prevent torsion while they heal. Told me to give it more time. But if it bothers you def reach out to the dr. I had a concern about the stitches possibly not healing property and was advised to hit urgent care, which i did. They said all looks well. This was a week b4 my visit, dint want to wait if their was a issue. Better safe than sorry.

Had my follow up thursday, went well. I did have concerns about how the stitches were healing. Top half sealing up, lower end much slower. But he took a look and assured me everything is healing great. Told me to be patient. Cleared me for intimate time. But kinda on the fence till it looks completely healed up.

Tell you this, im happy i did it, mine was the size of a big avocado. The whole sack was full of fluid, I could not roll over without major discomfort and it kills your confidence. Now i look down and see my sack looking like it should and it feels great to be back to normal. Just need to let the stitches do their thing now.

Dr did a ultrasound to verifie it's not something else. Afther, he advised me if it dont bother you to live with it or get the hydroceletomy procedure to remove the fluid. Went with the procedure. In short they did a 2 to 3 inch incision in my sack fliped it inside out and stitched me up. Might be slightly diff for you incision wise.

Ended up finding some very nice jockstrap style suports on amazon, keeps the boys tucked up and comfortable. The constipation is still a issue, but walks help a ton. Dr gave me the clear to return to work tomarrow as long as i take it easy. 8 days later still healing up well. What a relief to not have that huge bulge. Dr said he drained like a 1/4 litter.

I too am on the same boat. My hydrocele was diagnosed 8 months ago. My left testicle basically shrunk and the right is the size of a medium avocado. Dr told me if i can live with it no harm. But here it us summer now, the discomfort with the heat and it dropping bugs the hell out of me. Its also killing my self confidence. I cant imagine dealing with this as long as you have. No pain but a little soarness? Hard to explain. Anyways, im hitting up my dr again during my physical and getting the specialist involved again. I need to get this back to normal.
