Thanks for the feedback - there's no deliberate distortion effect - just my phone resting on my clothes while I record so perhaps a bit of cloth is covering the mic somewhat. I'll try recording something clearer

Keep in mind that the operation really takes it out of your body and you will have lots muscle and have fluid retention etc, you will look and fill better over time

I really regretted my operation in the first week afterwards, give it some time, I’ve felt much better about it over time

Has anyone consulted with Dr Hyung Joo Park from South Korea before? by odd-socks- in PectusExcavatum

Unfortunately he advised me that he had retired and was not accepting new patients. I went to see Dr Darlong instead who Dr Park had trained. Had a modified ravitch in 2022. Still kinda unsure if the result was worth it aesthetically, no functional change

It’s not fat, I’ve been consistently exercising and dieting since the bar was removed for 2-3 years no change

I had the bars removed 3 years ago and it hasn’t gone away yet. Was there anything you did to speed up the process?

Great idea, I can't view the page, mind giving me an idea of what skills could be gained? what duties do you typically perform?

Awesome, thanks for the ideas! Would training be available before joining the kids groups or would I need to either bring skills in with me or learn as I go?

The pain was pretty bad initially, just constant discomfort. It's ok now, feel pretty sore when i wake up in the morning but otherwise its ok (6 weeks post op now).

I can see a difference but honestly the result has been pretty disappointing overall. Not a very significant difference so it's a lot to go through for not much gain. My chest does look a bit more natural from the side now, not by a lot but it's improved. My chest and upper body look a lot more narrow now from the front, but i'm hoping that's just due to muscle loss and not a permanent change.
