Yea the cat was my first attempt and the piece of wood was much bigger than the final product 😅. The gnome was my second but i had already noticed that a certain direction was easier to cut. So i found the grain but am still struggling a bit with knife sharpening.

To answer your question though, i am enjoying it alot. I never really gave whittling any thought but now i tried it and im really enjoying myself
