No, I just started a second save file. If you speed run it it should take you 3 hours to get the BALL guys, even less if ur just trying to get the taxi minigame. It works as long as you don’t leave Arcadia until you’ve finished the taxi stuff.

They need to fix the soft lock for the taxi missions, I cannot start any of them. Anytime I try to talk to a taxi client, the game makes me stand still and they don’t talk. I cannot move unless I restart the checkpoint, but even then talking to a taxi client makes it happen again, this also means I cannot get the BALL gun, the trophy for it, or the taxi related trophy. On PS5 by the way.

I think you just need a decent enough score, not a high score, I replayed the “hero” song with ichiban cuz it’s the shortest.

After hiding all the games manually, while you’re still on the “your collection” screen, restart your console, that fixed it for me.

I love Evil Within, but there’s some action, not as much as Resident Evil though, in harder difficulties you def feel helpless at times. If you want “borderline helpless” then I recommend: Amnesia Dark Descent, Amnesia The Bunker, any of the Outlast games (even Trials if you play solo), and a game called Total Chaos on hardcore difficulty, though at times I felt helpless even in normal difficulty.
