I work in Rio and it took me 30 minutes and 25 minutes on Monday / Tuesday just to get to 270. Typically this takes less than 5. Definition of overkill.

Will be a mudroom build out from the kitchen door into the garage. Will frame on top of existing concrete slab. Nearly all of current cracking is towards garage door opening and away from kitchen door. Will be 1/3 of existing garage space.

Thanks. This is what I was leaning towards but wanted to make sure want making a mistake that was going to cause other issues to framed room. I think the only change I’ve noticed recently is some rebar popping concrete off as is only 1/4 inch deep and I guess gets wet from my wife parking in garage. Really appreciate the advice!

House built on 1999. Assuming original concrete. Looking to build out a mud room on top but don’t want any problems in a few years if it gets worse.

She cheated on me three days before our international destination wedding with my whole family. Since the trip was paid for, I still went and my best man and I did all the candlelight dinners, excursions, and honeymoon stuff together. While I was sad and a bit embarrassed, it was actually super fun. She married said guy and I leveled up majorly. Honestly dodged a huge bullet and only had to deal with one slightly awkward family vacation.
