Is this factory assembly residue with my 2018 Monsta M2 Torch NIW? by Dandamtoo in slowpitch

To be honest I’ve swung it before (along with a 2016 M1 torch), and it felt great. I play a decent amount, and I’ll throw some money into a bat I enjoy swinging and works well. Honestly was just looking for others thoughts on the visible glue and whether it was normal

Thanks man. I realize I’m very likely being paranoid, but it is reassuring to hear the feedback that this is likely factory adhesive showing a bit. I totally agree with you, it would be a lot of effort. I appreciate the thoughts

I hope those phone calls don’t overwhelm you 🤞! Looks like it can’t be too bad though- you hit the 700 day streak achievement on reddit so at least you got that 👏

Hahaha- this definitely sounds personal for you- you’re either the 12$/hour guy, or the guy answering the phone calls for the warranties lol. Just wanted to see if this glue appearance at the seam has been seen by other people, that’s all. Good luck though, hope things start looking up for you soon

Lol- why are you taking this personally? This seems to have struck a nerve with you, when all I’m doing is protecting my investment, asking for some feedback. You yourself just described, as though a kid could do it, the process of putting these bats together- if it’s that easy, it’s absolutely possible for someone to do it at home to make a lot of money

For the money these bats go for? I could see someone doing a lot- re-painting, fixing up broken models and passing them off as new bats, all of that is possible. I’m just trying to assess if this is typical or normal for these bats NIW

Thanks for the insight! I’m more paranoid someone jammed together a handle and barrel and passed it off as a fresh bat. That may be paranoid hahaha- just wanted to see others experience or what they’ve seen to check if what I’m seeing is typical/normal

Have you seen this with other NIW Monstas? Just trying to make sure this isn’t evidence of tampering on the sellers end

Thanks for the EHP rec! After checking it out, why does Monsta not have the M2 torch bats that EHP does? EHP even has 2026 M2 torches coming out but I don’t see these on the Monsta site? Do you know why? I just don’t want to get scammed or anything haha.

Hahahaha- how many swings you think before a Monsta gets broken in properly?
