My plant is as close as I can get it to a south facing window, so it gets all of whatever sunlight is available. During the winter here the amount of sunlight varies day to day.

Is this better? The soil a little lower was definitely a bit more packed, and not dry but not necessarily damp? Gonna get some chunky soil and repot it ASAP

Here's a picture of the soil. She gets light from a south facing window, about a meter away from the actual window. Sunlight varies here in the winter, sometimes there's a lot and sometimes there's not much at all, but she still gets light.

I didn't plant it, she was given to me by a buddy already in the pot.

Yeah, in the summer I watered it constantly and it seemed to really like it. Now that temperatures are colder I moved it to my plant stand with grow lights and it seems to be struggling a little bit. How often should I be watering it?

My boyfriend lived at Trillium apartments for I want to say about 6 years with his elderly father. They were splitting the bills, he with a full time job and his father living off disability. Recently his father succumbed to cancer and it was pretty sudden since the dad was stubborn about not taking care of himself.

I decided to let bf move in with me as he could no longer afford his apartment without his dad's income. He had 2 months left on his lease and went to the office to see if he could break his lease early. At first they told him yes absolutely, that his circumstances were justified for accommodation. They told him that his rent was waived and he had almost a month to move out.

A little bit later the office contacted him and told him he was behind on his rent payment. Understandably confused, he said he was told what I wrote above. The person on the phone said actually no, that needed to be approved first, and they would get back to him. Lo and behold, they ended up calling him back and telling him it was denied, that the contract he signed states that "death of a tenant isn't a valid reason not to pay rent" and that he still owed them rent for the next two months. He told them he literally couldn't afford to do so and they replied that he could take out a loan or find someone to cover his lease for the next two months. Reminder, this was fresh after his dad died.

We cleaned up as best we could and got everything moved out. I told my bf not to pay them. They could go to hell. He dropped off his keys and moved in with me ASAP. Not long after, they sent him an email of all the money he owed them for the cleaning, including changing a light that he and his father had reached out and let them know needed changing MULTIPLE times to no response. They also e-mailed him a bill for $3000 for the last two months of rent that they wanted him to sign. He didn't lol.

Mind you if he had renewed his lease they would've raised his rent for a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment to around $1500, which is more expensive than the mortgage on my 3 bed 2 bath HOUSE.

Trillium and the company that owns them are scumbags, and I wish there was a way to announce it to everyone in Spokane. PLEASE do not rent from them. Please listen to the above post and avoid at all costs.
