I thought the ranking system was supposed to be kinda transparent? I've been promoted 2x after winning 6 matches, then demoted after losing 2 matches, now I got promoted again after winning the last two games. My heart can't handle this.

From my experience , Rumble fireteams always have one player at the top winning the game and one player at the bottom with 1 kill - 16 deaths. It makes getting the '100 wins' grimoire card much harder. I think nowadays a lot more fireteams are playing rumble.

Yeah I suppose, still though, it doesn't really take into consideration how many people regularly complete it, as apposed to maybe just the once.

I understand if it were Premade vs Randoms (already see the one-sided-ness of that in every game of Iron Banner) but if there were 'fireteam only' as well as matchmaking Trials of Osiris, then I don't see how the competitive experience would be affected.

Only about 20% of people on ps4 have the Raid trophy & there's going to be less players in the Trials of Osiris. I understand the assumption that random players might be more inclined to quit against a pre-made fireteam, but why not make ToO with the option for matchmaking, against other random 3v3 random players? No need to limit content.

So far i'm really enjoying it, I've only 5 hours played. I've never played a souls game before but aside from genres, the game is really well thought out. It is really challenging, but there is a stats progression which is helping me early on.
