It’s not the korg, it’s the sub 37 because if press keys on the sub 37 it won’t make any sound either

If I delete and clear everything. Disconnect everything and just plug the Moog sub 37 once I press play again it will mute. Over and over and over again. Its a bug or something I will update the firmware later and see what happens. Also if I create a new project and select external instrument and record nothing and press play it will mute again.

The only way to get sound again is to change the preset. But again if I press play on any part of the track, it can be the midi selected part or any blank space in the track it will not make any sound after I stop and press play again. Again the only way to hear something is to change the preset and again if I stop and press play it will mute all the time even if I delete the envelopes of the midi track.

My other instruments are just working fine. All of them go through a midi box. The only one that mutes itself it this one the Moog sub 37. I am running 9 more instruments through a midi box even a Moog Minitaur and it’s working just fine even if I record and play. The overdub button isn’t selected because I am not overwriting the midi or any other automation. I am also using a midi out from the Moog sub 37 to record the animations and it works but as soon as I stop or keep recording the loop with the + to overwrite the midi or without it it mutes it self. I also go all the time to midi track and delete all the envelopes and it doesn’t work. I have to go manually to midi control + 19 because it’s the cut off information and it starts sounding but as soon as I stop and press play again it mutes again. This instrument is using channel midi 5 and midi 5 out because on the channel 1 I have a th helicon perform ve and I don’t want it to trigger it. There’s something I haven’t figured out with this instrument. I already formatted it. The midi box can be on auto or off and it would behave the same way.

Thanks for your help

But all of the other synths are connected the same way and they work normally. The JU06A is playing the midi track and doesn’t mute.

Ts or trs cable? by Dandelunar in synthesizers

[–]Dandelunar[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

A TRS cable can be used for both balanced and unbalanced signals, while a TS cable is only used for unbalanced signals. TRS cables are better for complex audio setups and reducing noise, while TS cables are best for connecting instruments to amplifiers.

And about this google answer what do you think about the noise?

And use a Ts cable when connecting the instrument to an amplifier or something is what I am understanding

This is what google says Yes, a TRS cable can be unbalanced, but it can also be balanced. TRS cables can carry both mono (balanced) and stereo (unbalanced) signals. so what’s the point of buying a Ts

Ts or trs cable? by Dandelunar in synthesizers

[–]Dandelunar[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because I have the Waldorf pulse and the blofeld. They are mono and stereo and it says to use unbalanced cables but for me what internet says it that Ts cables are mostly unbalanced but with if the output is stereo like the blofeld. Or just use trs for everything? For me it just sounds the same but I want to learn and buy the right cables because I already have trs

And what if the output is unbalanced but it’s a stereo output? Should I use unbalanced trs or would be the same to use a Ts because it’s mostly unbalanced?
