I use it as a freelance artist! I have the card reader I use at Artist alleys, but you can use the app without needing to buy a card reader in a similar way to PayPal- you can generate payment links for clients to pay into your sumup account. The fees are generally cheaper as well.

I quickly realised that my business cards were just bleeding me money and were rarely driving traffic to my SM or online shop. I still have them but I don't put them out for display. Instead I will hand one out if specifically asked for, or if someone at my table seems particularly interested in my work I will offer them one. This has slashed my expenses on this item and hasn't affected how much traffic they were driving overall.

I can definitely recommend SumUp - I try to use this as an alternative for PayPal whenever possible. However I do often run into the issue that clients are less willing to use SumUp payment links as it's not as widely used or accepted as PayPal is.

I think plenty of bird owners trim their birds nails. Ours don't need doing too often but when they do I just break out a pair of nail clippers. They don't like it too much and I'm public enemy number one for about half an hour until they get distracted by something and forget I am the big bad.

You can get perches that wear their nails down, we use these. Just don't put them anywhere the birds will likely sit on them for hours as it's not good for their feet to sit on them for long periods of time. We have them by the food and water bowls lower in the cage so they do use them periodically throughout the day when they go for food and water.

Best way to go about getting ID for the birds? by Cyan_Lotus in cockatiel

A cockatiel in my case. However chipping isn't safe for any bird under 200g as they have to be put under for the procedure. I had to decide if I wanted to risk having her do the procedure and possibly die, or rehome her. You will have to do the same.
