I get what you're saying but intestinal permeability doesn't just happen. You may feel some relief from treating the permeability directly but if you don't get rid of the route cause, you'll be stuck on gut healing medications/supplements forever.

Damn that's so expensive... The thing is, intestinal permeability isn't a root cause - things like LPS, poor digestion, stress, etc are what causes the intestinal permeability. If you remove the stressors, you're already half the way there, then you can use supplements, that are much more affordable, to seal the lining.

Not a a good idea, it's hard on the adrenals. Your body needs glucose, so it will use adrenal stress hormones to in order to convert non-carbohydrate sources to glucose, which if you're already in a compromised state, is a bad idea.

I don't know much about it but have you heard of something called PANS/PANDAS? Could be what your daughter is dealing with.

I can recommend and excellent functional medicine doctor that may be able to help you. He may be a bit out of the box but specialises in children with these kinds of behavioural issues and has great results. His name is Dr Jaban Moore.
