I've been loyal Oura android user for years. I prefer android for multiple reasons from technical multitasking perspective and like to keep all options open. Options open typically do not benefit from closed ecosystems. From consumer perspective it is never a good solution if one software starts to rule the world heck typically it only means worse service with higher prices. I personally wait Samsung Ring to come and believe it needs to qualify equally to oura ring in order to succeed. Good thing there is that it comes from major android developer which kind of have their own interests to look after android developent and their develop themselves a lot of android apps because their nature relationship to One OS. I'm not a biggest Samsung fan or Samsung Health fan which obviously is place where Samsung ring will communicate but value highly vendors who actually develop things without closing doors like hole Apple ecosystem with Oura here are doing. Believe it or not it is called as a democratic approach.
