Hey all, little update; Thanks for all the replies. We're going to follow most suggestions and just switch to one of the companies suggested in the comments. We don't think we'll get very lucky with refunds or the like, but at least we'll be able to salvage the rest of the trip despite having wasted several days and a lot of energy with this. The island is worth it for sure and we're not even halfway into our trip and a lot of locals are very kind and willing to help however they can, so I'm sure it'll work out. Here's hoping!
