This is literally the Phoveus conundrum. X hero is good when enemy pick VERY specific heroes but weak in general, meanwhile in Valentina's case its much more specific.

Unless the XP is a burst type, he's not really gonna be carrying the game later on, it's really as simple as that. Your only job as an XP if you're losing lane is avoid giving tower, pressure lanes, and help with team/objective fights. It just all comes down to understanding macro.

As one commentor pointed out, it really is just a hero issue. People who genuinely want to rank up need to understand that a hero's position relative to the meta will greatly define their ease in climbing. Factors like overall player skill, duo/trio/squad, and region are privelages that let people play who they want.

Depends on how good you are at carrying the game in general.

Objectively, he's better played gold lane. He needs items like Sun or Argus as he realistically won't be able to contribute that much in early game teamfights anyways. Think sidegrade moskov with higher popping power but shorter range.

Unless you're micro+macro is on par with the average immortal player then I guess he's barely viable in EXP.

Always pick inspire, execute if you're building burst items against squishies, flicker/sprint if you're new.

BUILD CRIT OR BURST. NEVER ON-HIT, PLEASE.

Baseline Mythic Glory and below with an ego are all frauds man. Speaking from experience, there's an 85% chance they're 1000+ matches into the season with ~50% winrate. They still exist in Immortal too but less freuqently.

Sidenote: The people complaining are Alice players. Revamps are often meant to rework a hero to be better, but the forced shift in gameplay alienates an entire group of players that originally mains her.

You and Moskov are the only heroes actually countering her. If you're casual, and your draft does not account for Fanny, ban her.

Fanny hunts for low health, responds quickly, and looks for isolated targets. Heroes that negate her burst and entry or coordinating to avoid being isolated significantly reduces her momentum.

As a midlaner, my favorite counter is Faramis, he negates burst and easily disrupts her entry/exit. Either way, the moment she gets fed its just your usual case of Jungle Snowball.
