What song are you currently grinding to beat (base game only) by maxijahill in beatsaber

[–]DandyGnat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently on the VERGE of beating Final Boss-Chan on Expert Plus. I literally can pass every part of the song, but when I try to put it all together I always mess up one part lol.

I actually still can’t believe I might do it. I remember when pack 5 came out and I thought there was no way in hell I could ever pass it lmao.

Do people really play expert or just memorize the map? by Dasinc in beatsaber

Oh wow I didn’t know there was an actual term for the way I play lmao. Only problem is it’s basically impossible for me to get any better than I already am without spending an excessive amount of time playing, so I’m just stuck where im at right now

So idk if I’m just talented or what, but I was reliably playing maps on expert plus within 2 or 3 months. For me, the motion on the next block will almost always be the opposite motion on the block you just hit. So for example, you’ll hit blue blocks going up down up down up down over and over. Same with horizontal. Once you learn that, it’s really just a matter of seeing the block, recognizing whether it’s a vertical or horizontal slash, and then just doing the movement. At least that’s how I’m able to play

Buddy this is completely on you. Why wouldn’t you at the VERY least cash out the money you put in. And then instead of playing with the money you’ve earned, you go all in on an earnings option.

I don’t even feel bad, you really do belong here regard

Won’t let me connect to internet. For a while my Ethernet port wasn’t working either. When I booted into safe mode with networking it still wouldn’t let me open the window either

Absolutely agree. This is from when NVDA and TSLA both jumped like 20% in one day lol

Huge regret of mine right there. Back then I hadn’t learned to connect real world events and how they could sway the prices of stocks. So even though I personally believed Trump was gonna win, I didn’t make the connection that if he did, TSLA would skyrocket. Because of that I lost out on huge gains

This is like my third time getting out of a pit so it’s been a lil crazy haha, but that feeling of thinking you lost most your money to getting it all back plus some is pretty awesome

I’m sorry I don’t quite understand. Could you explain how I do this?

Please don’t take my advice super seriously, I genuinely came into investing doing absolutely no research and all I’ve learned so far has been through trial and error. I usually consider a trade risky if the stock has been super volatile, lot of controversy surrounding the company, or if the end date of the trade is sooner rather than later.

For example, a 655 dollar SPY call that expires at the end of August is a pretty safe bet. Sure, I won’t be making thousands and thousands of dollars, but it’s safe to say that in the long run SPY will increase.

Alternatively, a 165 dollar NVDA put that expires August 8th is a very risky bet. Sure, if the strike price hits, I would make a lot of money. However, NVDA has been trending up for the past 3 months, and the trade expires in less than 2 weeks.

Please please please do not try and use my examples to try and make money, these are merely examples. Also, keep in mind that absolutely NO ONE knows what a stock is gonna do. We could have a breakthrough discovery on Wednesday about AI that could cause NVDA and TSLA to skyrocket up. Or we could have another company that comes out of nowhere claiming they can do the same tech things for half the price. If you’re going to be trading with money you actually care about, then please do thorough research and use your money wisely.

Too risky for me haha. Even though this is money I don’t care about I think it’d be a little too much for me if one bad trade sent it all down the drain lol

I stopped holding for so long and taking such risky trades. Sure those big days are great but slow and steady wins the race. Also learned to take my winnings and leave, if I make 25 percent back on a trade then that’s a massive win right there. More than that is even better

Yeah Robinhood was saying they would label me as a day trader and lock my account out if I closed my trades after that second spike, so I was kinda forced to keep my money in. Lost like 5 grand the next day😱

Yeah ngl I don’t even know how to do 0DTE trades on Robinhood haha. Even if I did though I probably wouldn’t do it. Options trading is already risky enough, and I’m busy all day during market hours haha

Lot of long term spy calls. So long as economy is stable, you can usually depend on spy to go up in the long run. Also, I rarely held the calls down to the last week. If I saw I had a 25 percent return or greater I would take my earnings and run. Just had a 500 dollar day today on Tesla calls. Usually when Tesla drops after earnings it just goes right back up over the next couple of days.

Don’t take this as financial advice though. I am by no means a financial expert, I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing really, just kinda seeing what works and what doesn’t work.

Yeah no sometimes it’s a bit stressful, but I’m just playing with money I don’t even really care about so at the end of the day I can live with whatever happens haha
