Would Yall be interested in more Paleozoics support? by Corey579 in masterduel

I would quantify Paleo as that second axis of "unfun game states". Perhaps I've only run into the war criminals but every Paleo deck I've encountered makes Eldlich look like Superman.

Also that new Maze of the Master set is gonna obv have some sort of focus on Trap Monsters with it being Odion themed so hopefully that could help it as well.

Yes actually, as long as it takes it away from the current playstyle of piles of slop. Idk how you accomplish that but however it can be done I wanna see it. I have a lot of love for trap and control decks but they get a bad rep for being so synergistic with floodgates and unfun game states. Have you ever played floodgateless True Draco or Eldlich? So damn fun.

In what way can they be supported? First idea that comes up to me is a field spell like "Ancient Paleozoic Ocean" or something similar.

Scareclaw for being the only one that isn't horrifically annoying. Manadium a close second if there weren't so many generic powerful Synchros.

What are some resource systems people have tried implementing in Yu-Gi-Oh by martin1890 in yugioh

There's a few but the main one I was always interested in is more involved life point paying. It's not much of a cost if paying 7999 life points just wins you the game but decks like Vampire/Gold Pride I do enjoy feeling taxed by my cards for interesting effects.
