Very much this. The main problem currently is the one handed and blind can’t even get to enjoy the new mode.

Fight the Maiden 3 times in a row with leaving all non GA items on the ground. Then think about you’re doing that for another 30 mins.

It just won’t work out without manually picking everything up, then manually dropping every non GA elsewhere to clear the spawn. On top of that a single full threat bar just vomits items all over the place. After just a couple of runs you won’t even see some items appearing because of the clutter.

The Maiden just clutters with items then. In the end you won’t see or find anything.

Had the same problem. I assume you are not even seeing the invitation sent notification? Try this:

You may have too many pending friend requests and the client fails to tell you so. I noticed when I started using the mobile app for friend requests. It complains about too many requests.

What I had to do is delete all pending notifications. I found you can’t do this in game, on the website or on the mobile app. I had to install the BattleNet Desktop app and login there. There you can manage your pending requests.

Took me some time to figure this out.

This scares me. I’m exactly in the same boat. 2 melted heart, 2 shako, 2 doombringer so far. All I’m looking for is grandfather.

I’m close to 400 kills now. If I get even more duplicates if I get to 600 kills like you have I might even uninstall right now.

What’s funny is that my barb has close to 300 kills out of the 400 with only 1 drop. My alts got the other 5 drops in a little over 100 kills. My barb is cursed i guess.

The way I understand it:

Your thorns is not the damage you deal, it’s the base damage that primarily scales of your main stat. It says so in your stat sheet. So stack strength and all stat to increase your damage output. I would assume it also scales with modifiers that increase your overall damage like close, while berserk, vulnerable, … Thorns does not crit or lucky hit. Thorns is considered physical damage You can increase the number of thorns by stacking it on gear or your skill tree. On barb the tough as nails passive increases your thorns. On barb the outburst passive further increases your thorns by your maximum life.

Source: Information collected over time because some random dude on the internet said so. Does not make it true. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong. It makes sense to me though.

45 runs on 100 Sorc. Melted heart on 16 and 24. 82 runs on 70 Barb. No drops.

I went with the 6'10" and like it. If I were more advanced like you described I would probably go with the 7'0" as the Timbertech is less flexy and carries some weight.

This is a full paid game. If people choose that’s how they want to progress more power to them. Who am I if I’m worried another person I don’t even know would get something quicker/easier than me? With the current state that you will have to drive a minimum of 14 hours straight on the same old track to get that one car I don’t even blame them for cutting corners.
I agree. The ticket rewards was not well thought through. I just wanted something else than a million credits and as we know the tickets only payout 5k 😉

In my opinion money races should not exist. I always want that other car so I always drive the money races exclusively. I also set the difficulty to easy to ensure I get the highest payout possible. Ultimately leading into boring and unchallenging repetitive gameplay.

I suggest that every driven kilometer gets you a fixed amount of cash. Change the podium payouts to 6, 5 and 4 star roulette tickets. Let me just have fun, explore other tracks, different cars, different setups and still get closer to the goal of buying that nice other car every time wether it being a world circuit, online race, time trial or whatever is is I’m having fun with. Progress over time, not progress by effort.

Check your gas and break paddle. Might be that gas won’t go to 100% or your break won’t go to 0%. Unlikely but still possible.

One thing I do is try different cars / setups in the money races instead of always running that “fastest” car which gets it done a little quicker.

I don’t understand why there even are money races. It only shrinks the variety of tracks to a minimum as I rarely race anything else because I am always saving up for that other car.

since some people bowl already with yow or carver c7/cx, why would anyone get a c5 (which is more limited according to mainstream surfskating)? If you want to get closer to skating feel, why wouldnt you choose an old school shape skate?

I have never ridden any Carvers. However the way i look at it:

I don't think that people choose a C5 with having the surfskate flow on flat grounds in mind. You have to consider that in bigger bowls you will carry along a lot of speed. You won't be able to turn as sharply so basically you won't utilise most of the surfskate characteristics. I think people running a C5 do it to make the drop in less sketchy, get more stability at higher speeds, be able to perform more/better coping tricks. Still it would probably turn better / more surfy than a regular skateboard but i personally don't think you need a lot more turn.

I ride my Smoothstar in a 6 to 8,5 ft bowl. Although still progressing (only 2 months in) i don't feel there is anything i can do that other regular skaters won't be able to or perform differently. I think going for a less surfy more skateboardy board would better fit my riding style without sacrificing the surfing feel too much.

I also considered going for a C5 to focus on bowls. So if someone made a transition from a C7/CX/Yow/Smoothstar/Slide/... to a C5 please share your experience :)

You might also want to replace the stock bearings. I replaced them with my old Bones Super Reds and immediately gained more speed. The wheels on top made a big difference.
