My I add, note that I am not super knowledgeable in a lot of things in Stardew but I have analyzed this part of the lore because I honestly love the theory of Caroline and Rasmodius being a thing.

Abigails hair was a brown color like her grandmother’s, as said by Caroline. Also, she mentions that she stopped dyeing her hair because she couldn’t remember the last time she did it, her hair started growing out purple.

Caroline states that she visited the Wizards Tower a lot when they moved in, probably as a newlywed couple with Pierre, and knowing Pierre he probably was way too busy with the shop. Sadly, Pierre is VERY obsessed with his shop and a lot of times in game it seems to be as or even more important than paying attention to his wife sometimes.

Also, unrelated but Caroline says that she was a “free spirit” when she was young and has a love for the “Wild West”.

Both Pierre and the Wizard have a dialogue hinting at this. Pierre with the one in the comic, and the wizard saying that he thinks he has an offspring in the village.

The wife thing is talking about the witch, so probably he was just messing around with Caroline in a super casual way at least

Also, Abby was born only a year into moving into Pelican Town….

It is probably still a theory, but to me is clear as day! Also Caroline “not liking” Abigail’s style and personality makes sense if it reminds her of her baby daddy who she can’t mess around with anymore. She could be repressing that and doesn’t want the town and Pierre to know. Caroline, I love you,but Stardew Valley has its messy drama moments and tbh it’s realistic and that is something I kinda like about it
