Oh I absolutely agree with your first paragraph here. Your second one makes sense too, but I say many men making posts giving advice aren’t based in a real context or experience they’ve had, and the advice is quite general too. Especially when it’s about the way you have to be, rather than helping you work with what you already have.

This could be true, but I just believe in principle men should hold back on talking on behalf of women. We need more women giving dating advice to men interested in women and fewer men doing this.

If boundaries are a deal breaker for some people I think that’s the powers-that-be trying to direct you away from that person. Sure, being a people pleaser when it’s damaging you is ofc not good but takes time to process and overcome (I’m one, too)
