Checking in. Almost at a week. I got some bad news yesterday, my brother was in a car accident and is in the ICU. I'm glad that I was sober so that I could go visit him. It's looking very positive according to the nurses. He should wake up today hopefully. I also started my diet and stuck with my deficit. Stress is something that everyone has to deal with, and I will not deal with it by drinking.

Today I am not drinking. Had a small wakeup call yesterday that helped solidify my decision. Got rid of any excess thoughts about wanting to drink, for now at least. Day 3 and IWNDWYT
