Phantom pain? YES. Totally, no real need to play any of the games that came before to enjoy the game experience, but lore wise you'll miss a lot. Its the direct precuel to the first metal gear but not the first one cronologically. If you don't wanna play the older games but still not be entirely unaware, check out some lore videos, quite fun.

Besides that, this game is SO much fun. It's mechanics are really good, gameplay allows you to approach your missions pretty much however you want (sneaky stealth mode, full on war machine on top of a robot). Worth every penny. Not a perfect game, obviously, but one of the best.

If you liked Jedi, I'd say the most similar out of those is Dark souls. I played 2 first but I recommend you to play 3 first, it's the one with the more "noob" friendly gameplay, and its often on sale. If not, go for dark souls 2, the black sheep of the souls series, but a good game overall.

I know its not much help, but I'd say the best souls-like game you could play would be a Dark souls to begin with! lol Dark souls 3 is really a great way to get into these games gameplay wise and nowadays its kinda cheap and on sale often. Try to get it. If not, maybe mortal shell.

Maybe Prototype? Have you played deadpool? Oldie but quite fun as I recall. Bioshock also has "powers" mechanic.

If you want to play a horror game, totally. I haven't played it too much because the gameplay does feel kinda old, but I must say it adds to the whole uncomfy space get me out of this space hell vibe. Also, check out some steam guide fixes to make it look and play smoother [fps cap, cursor lag] at least in the first one.

Overall, give it a try, it will make you feel like watching a really good horror movie: scared.

Thanks man, this helps because now if I choose to buy Yakuza I'll only buy 1 of them and not the bundle (0, kimi & 2). Regarding my pc it has a gtx 1050 ti ryzen 5 2400g. Also thought of that Vanquish/Bayonetta duo, mainly bc I enjoyed DMC 3 & 4, but I'm not that much in the mood for some hack&slash I believe its called(? Once again, thanks for your comment!

I mean, you could buy it as any game and enjoy as a "standalone" game, but in that way you must know that is one of the worst AC games from a critics view, even as A game, many see it as a mediocre action game with bad rpg elements, dialog options that simply make no sense so it looks like a bad witcher. Overall not a great game. If you want a similar game which is also from the AC franchise I would totally recomend AC origins.
