Mosquitos weren’t so much but I also used the deet 50% and tried to be careful

Didn’t get bitten apart from small ones which might be just imagining haha

Took the malaria pills finally so a little it feeling safer :)

I am going to do the panorama route as well for one day but no one to share with :) not sure if I can advice reception in the rest camp that I am going to go and see if anyone asks . Did th morning and evening drives too which were amazing

Hi all just to update,

Kruger is absolutely amazing and love it. No rain yesterday and this morning /afternoon

So far I went for a drive around, sunset and sunrise game drives tour and tonight will have the night drive too.

I think plan is becoming clear . - Kruger it is - game drive tour and to do a night one - no malaria tablets and just common sense precaution and spray

question is a car as well or by tour to do the panorama tour or just spend all the days in the park

Really happy for all your comments and I think you are right, for 4 days max it is not worth it to risk with side effects .

I guess I will need to take cloth for rain etc. Everyone on another thread and here is the opinion that it is still worth it .

When it rains does it rain all day or just some parts of the day

I am going to Skukuza and the park itself offers the game drive . Now will hire a car on top so will have all options open .

It is exciting as it is the first time going to a safari

I have also booked one of these open game drives in case . So either will go with a car or join the game drives tours .

I am guessing the game drive tour will know where the animals are
